BTS BOYCOTTS THE GRAMMYS
BTS has announced they will not submit their music for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards, taking a firm stand against the Recording Academy’s newly introduced “Best Asian Pop Music Performance” category. In a unified Instagram statement to fans, the global icons rejected the new classification, writing: “We hope that music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language.” The move ignites broader online discourse surrounding the Grammys’ latest genre splits while defying the notion that music should be boxed in by geography and language.

BURBERRY AT THE V&A
After rolling out the red carpet for Chanel, Dior, and Schiaparelli, London’s V&A is turning its attention to a true British homegrown legend: the iconic Burberry trench. To celebrate the brand’s 170th anniversary, the South Kensington institution is opening The Burberry Trench: Crafting an Icon, a free presentation raiding both the Burberry Archive and the museum’s own vaults. The exhibition tracks how a piece of utilitarian military gear transformed into the ultimate symbol of damp-weather chic and luxury.
Catch it at the Prince Consort Gallery from 21 September 2026 to 3 January 2027.
