WB: One director you’d love to work with?

NL: Again, so many to choose from, but here’s a shortlist: Denis Villeneuve, Antoine Fuqua, Jacques Audiard, David Fincher, Park Chan- wook, Bong Joon-ho.

WB: Who are your biggest influences?

NL: My mother. She taught me the true meaning of courage and showed me that you have to fight for your dreams. If you believe, the world opens up to you.

WB: Big night out or cozy night in?

NL: Both! Cozy during the week, party on the weekend.

WB: Top life tip?

NL: Every day, become 1% better than the day before.

WB: How do you choose your roles?

NL: I choose my roles completely at random. I put all the scripts on a table, close my eyes, throw a dart, and let destiny decide! Okay, seriously though, I pick based on the script and what I can bring to the role. Once that’s settled, I also need to vibe with the energy of the director.

WB: How do you prepare for them?

NL: It depends on the role. If I’m playing an obese character, you’ll find me at McDonald’s 10 times a day.

WB: Guilty pleasure?

NL: Little Prince LU cookies dipped in milk — I can devour a whole pack by myself. WB: Top three songs on rotation today?

NL: “Band4Band” by Central Cee, “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar, and “Like a Praye”r by Madonna.

WB: Favorite holiday spot?

NL: Anywhere with turquoise waters, sunshine, and Wi-Fi 🙂

WB: Best advice you ever got?

NL: I got them from two sneaker brands: Adidas says “Impossible is Nothing”, and Nike says “Just Do It”. Combine those, and you get: nothing is impossible in life, so just do it – and shut up about it.
