It may feel like the options are more than ever this Easter but fret not, here at Sorbet we’ve compiled a list of all the best places to dine, travel and experience this weekend (and the weekend beyond). All the way from a Naughty Noodle Brunch at the FIVE Palm, to special Easter Eggs at the Mandarin Oriental, and trips to Sun Siyam Iru Veli in the Maldives. A leisurely afternoon is in order at the Park Hayatt Dubai. Known for its lobster wellington, anus beef carpaccio, Comté cheese beignet, top-notch meats, freshly shucked oysters, mussels, and clams, this Traiteur Brunch is looking far from disappointing. THE FEAST FORGED IN FIRE AT NETSU
There’s a feast being forged in fire at Netsu, Ross Shonhan’s Japanese Steakhouse, through the artistry of Warayaki straw-fire cooking. Bringing together a wide selection of wagyu, tartares and brioche to start, following with spicy miso Chilean seabass and Australian wagyu chef’s cut. Finishing up with a platter of sorbet (and seasonal fruits and ice creams, but we’re partial to sorbets).

This Sunday, Tasca by José Avillez is bringing the warmth and culinary spirit this holiday (Domingo de Páscoa in Portuguese) dreams about. Bringing Portugal to Dubai is Polvo a Lagareiro, roasted octopus, and slow-cooked lamb shoulder among others in a feast made for sharing.

CHEF NIKO’S COLOMBA CAKE
Acting as a center piece for celebrations and a traditional end to the holiday feast is the Easter cake. This year, Chef Niko Romito of Bvlgari Dolci is putting his best cake forward – the Colomba. The light, airy dove-shaped cake takes 60 hours to perfect through three meticulous fermentation phases, and is finished with an almond praline and raw beet sugar.
