London's first all-suite hotel features a restaurant from Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, a private memeber's club, and a personal assistant
After two decades of meticulous planning, The Emory London finally made its grand debut this summer. The hotel sits in the heart of Belgravia but, unlike other properties belonging to the prestigious postcode, it only houses exclusive suites. The lates triumph by the illustrious Maybourne- operators of London’s renowned Claridge’s, The Connaught, and The Berkley, as well as The Maybourne Riviera and The Maybourne Beverly Hills- The Emory has 61 suites, with a different interior designer dedicated to each floor. Crafted by visionary architects Ivan Harbour and the late Richard Rogers, the hotel is a masterpiece of quiet luxury, where old-world charm meets cutting-edge design. As guests arrive via a cobbled walkway, they’re be greeted by the hotel’s distinctive steel masts and floor-to-ceiling windows, which flood the nine floors with natural light. Ivan Harbour likens the intricate steelwork to “watchmaking on grand scale,” where every detail is meticulously crafted to exude timeless elegance.

At the entrance, guests will also meet their Emory Assistant who is on a call for the duration of their stay. ABC KITCHENS BY JEAN-GEORGES
Renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten has, for the first time, gathered his culinary trifecta (abc kitchen, abcV, and abc cocina) under a single roof at The Emroy London, aptly named abc kitchens. The dining spaces feature rich and copper detials, and an impressive glass wine cellar along with an open kitchen to watch the chefs in their element. At the heart of the space stands a colossal Rosso Orobico marble block, surrounded by Damien Hirst’s captivating The Secret Garden Paintings. The menu celebrates local produce with a plant-focused philosophy, offering dishes like the must-try cornmeal-crusted maitake and king oyster mushrooms paired with a zesty cashew, lime, leaf, and passion fruit pepper sauce.
THE EMORY BAR AND ROOFTOP
Located on the hotel’s ground floor, The Emory Bar, designed by Rémi Tessier, showcases a mesmerizing glass canopy with shimmering hues and a striking stained-glass piece by artist Brian Clarke. The bar exudes minimalist elegance, accented by metallic touches and an impressive back bar. The cocktail menu features delicious signature drinks, including the Emorini, crafted with Sapling gin, Amaro Santoni, and Cocchi Americano. The space is enhanced by retractable glass doors which reveal a private courtyard. Creating the second side of the story, The Emory’s rooftop bar has a panoramic view of the London cityscape below. Adjacent to it lies the cigar room, adorned in retro-style décor that exudes both warmth and sophistication. The space features a state-of-the-art ventilation system and personalized humidors for each patron, establishing it as a secluded retreat.

At The Emory, guests are granted exclusive access to Surrenne, a private memebers’ retreat devoted to holistic wellness and the pursuit of longevity. Spanning four luxurious floors, this sanctuary offers an immersive journey through cutting-edge health, fitness, and beauty services- including the spa’s most sustainable facial treatment, Stella by Stella McCartney- designed in partnership with globally acclaimed experts. There’s even an entire floor dedicated to fitness pioneer Tracy Anderson.
A seamless fusion of natural elements and advanced treatments create a comprehensive approach to nurturing both emotional and physical vitality, fostering a true sense of longevity.
