WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

Where the wild roses grow, among the thorny bush or bramble, inner city spaces reclaimed by tenacious nature or tended to by those green-thumbed among us – amateur botanists or avid gardeners – all inspired Maria this season. That age-old spring vernacular of sentimental florals here gives way to the more prickly thistle and nettlesome vines that climb up endless dresses in lace, silk and tulle, all tempered with artisanal jute and raffia.
